PERSONALITY; SASSY ALL THE WAY
HISTORY; I WISH IT WERE THAT SIMPLE
Kylee was born in a barn owned by a young couple, hoping to get "green" and start a "farm and such. They had a growing passion for border collies and breed them to herd their small flock (at the time it was only three sheep) and for agility. Poor Kylee was the only pup of her little to survive the harsh winter that she was born into. It wasn't only the dogs that died, as well. The farm's one and only cow died giving birth to a stillborn calf and half of the chickens passed away as well. It was hard all around. But Kylee was well loved by her humans and soon learned how to herd and to run an agility course. It kept her busy and happy, as all border collies need to be.
Soon, her humans trained her to just be an agility dog, only helping herd when necessary. Since she was the best at agility, she had the best chance of winning prize money, which was what the small farm needed if it were to last much longer. Slowly, she gained fame in the agility world, taking first in almost all she competed in. She was a star.
But as all fame is, it didn't last long. When she was running a huge course, where first place won over a hundred dollars, the teeter totter broke and down came Kylee with it. More or less she was fine...if a broken foot counts as fine. The vet said that it would heal but never again would she be able to compete.
Recovery was easy, the hard part was not competing. The vet said that she would have to keep her exercise on the down low, not stressing her foot very much. It just about killed her. Border collies need to run and Kylee was no exception. So, instead of living her life pain free but in depression, she ran away. Far away. It hurt her to think about her humans suffering about their missing dog, but she was too happy to care. She was free to run, free to be herself.

PERSONALITY; SASSY ALL THE WAY
Now, Kylee, she's a hard little girl to sum up in one package. She's sweet and gentle, knows when she's gone too far but at the same time doesn't listen. Her image may be a goody girl, doing what she's told to do and fast, but her real self is a rule-braking, sneak. That's not to say she isn't gentle and sweet, of course she is, there's just more to her than first meets the eye. The poor girl seems like one would be popular, but in reality, she had a very few real friends. Her bright blue eyes are always on the look out for a time when she can brake a rule and get away with it. Kylee's fast and had a sincere smile, so it's hard to catch her in the act of a wrong-doing. It's there, just not very noticeable all the time. I may be giving you the wrong picture of Kylee. She's a loyal girl and if it were to come to either her life or her friend's, she would pick the friend. Her problem is that she has a low respect for elders, which makes her attitude not right for pack life. Which is true, since she lived with humans for most of her life. But that's a different story, not to be discussed here.
